Hi! My name is Laurie
In 1998, I was first introduced to the internet. I was immediately interested in how it all worked. I checked out an HTML book from the Library and within a short time, I had a simple website created on Geocities (remember them?). I wish I still had access to that site!
I was a busy young mother of a growing family, and I was busy. Web design took a back seat to life. After 18 years as a stay at home mom (occasionally working small jobs here and there), I began working part time in a local yarn shop. A couple of years later, I also began attending Gwinnett Technical college, majoring in Web Design and Development.
I have a passion for creating things. I knit, crochet, sew, tie dye, quilt, make soap, make jewelry, and my latest hobby is making sourdough bread. I just can’t seem to stop learning and finding new interests. I truly love making things!
